  1. You'll need to refer to your manual for instructions specific to your router. However, generally you will need to open your web browser and visit one of the following web site addresses:

    http://192.168.100.1

    http://192.168.0.1

to visit the web based configuration screens for your router. Next, you will want to either set or change your password to access the router via the web browser. Then you will need to change the default SSID network name to something unique. Then turn off SSID broadcasting. Then setup WPA2 key. Then set MAC address filtering. Note, you will need to configure your network card to use the new SSID, and WPA2 key. Note: Configuring your router should preferably be done over a wired network connection for security.

  2. Just go here http://blogs.technet.com/steve_lamb/arch... and follow the instructions.

    Hope this helps.

  3. It means you don't have a wireless key on the network.

On the router you need to select the wireless settings and look for WEP - select 128 bit at the least, and if you want to make it easier select ASCII (letters and numbers) - 128 bit needs a 13 character passkey so then select 13 characters and remember them, i.e "Spitfire12345" - now on the notebook etc you are asked for the wireless key, enter the same key and you should be in.
