Help with betting!?

Right, now please correct me if im wrong BUT wouldn't there always be an Arb bet when you do outright betting?

If i bet Germany to win Euro 2008 on one website and Germany NOT to win Euro 2008 on another website. Providing i bet the correct amount, aren't I always guna make a nice profit on outright betting coz the odds are quite high?

If i am wrong, please explain why

WHen you lay that means you accept the bet of someone else, if you lay for example AUstria at 129 that means you accept the bet of someone else at odds of 129, if Austria become a champion then you will have to pay him a huge ammount.

EDIT: No, lay should be lower than back. For example if you bet on 4.50 you can lay under 4.49, then you have guaranteed profit

IF i am reading this correct yes you are going to make a profit either way if you bet the same amount on each team.
