Question:

Help with bleaching leopard spots into my hair?

In about two weeks I'm going to turn fourteen and I will be allowed to dye my hair. [I'm sooo freaking exited] I'm planning to do a number of things to my hair, all of which I know how to do and how to care for. One think I don't know, however, is how to BLEACH leopard spots into my bangs. I was wondering if I should take a small brush and free-hand it with some bleach, or make a stencil, or something :/ I don't want to buy any more extensions, I've been wearing them all the time and I'm rather sick of them. I don't want to hear you retards bashing me on how hideous it will look, and I don't want to hear people telling me it's impossible, BECAUSE IT'S NOT. I'm NOT going to a stylist, and I'm most likely doing it myself. Any bleach brand recommendations? Also, I have medium long hair [which doesn't matter too much, I'm bleaching my bangs] and I do NOT want to do that celery trick, that only works if you have hair thats a few cm tall :/

So please help me, thank you.

  1. ignore the answer above me. bleaching that into your hair wont make it fall out. id recommend loreal quick blue with maybe a 30 vol toner since its such a small area. they can be found at sallys for like $6 for the whole thing

for more of a contrast it would help if your hair is pretty dark. you could make a stencil out of part of a little sandwich bag and make sure to clip it into place or something so it doesnt move around. use a small brush too. when you take the stencil off be really careful not to smudge

  2. make a stencil! thats so cool!! idea stole!!! haha jk  but make a stencil

    =]]

  3. uhhh

i know this is not the answer you want but ummm

spare yourself years of damage and periods of hating your hair so much because it's fried from dying..bleaching

    seriously. keep your hair healthy.

  4. You probably shouldn't do this, even though you want too. It would damage your hair and when you get tired of it the color probably won't take over the spots like the rest of your hair does. I bleached my hair on the sides and underneath and it didn't stop being bleach blond until I grew it out. But if you really want to do this I would suggest a stylist to do it so you don't ruin your hair by yourself.
