  1. roast marshmellows

  2. Bonfires have been used for centuries as a way to celebrate certain traditions, such as homecoming games, holiday observances and even pagan rituals. Planning the right activities for a bonfire should reflect the purpose of the event, even if that is merely keeping warm on a cold, wet evening.

Keep the menu simple when you prepare food for a bonfire. Have a traditional weiner roast when you prepare food for a bonfire. Just ensure that the skewers are long enough so that no one burns their fingers by drawing too close to the fire. Also remember to bring a few bags of marshmallows, a box of graham crackers and some chocolate bars to make S'mores. Bring plenty of finger food when you prepare your bonfire meal. Knives and forks may be easily lost in the dark, or even worse, left behind as litter. Concentrate on such dishes as hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches and even a healthy vegetarian wrap.

You should locate extra tents and sleeping bags to give guests a place to crash after the bonfire goes out. If the bonfire is nearby, your living room can be turned into a makeshift sleeping area with a few blankets and pillows.

***Never start a bonfire with flammable liquids such as gasoline, kerosene or other types of lighter fluid. A safe, controlled bonfire is the result of properly arranging the wood and lighting it through natural means.***

  3. lol I did that! i had a homework burning party!

You could play flashlight tag, for the campout- take a tv outside with an extention cord and watch a scary movie. You could get the blair witch project and tell your friends it was a real documentary. Everyone could chip in 2 or 3 $ & you could get some pizzas, and roast marshmallows!!

  4. Yea! homework in the fire!

    hmm...

anyway. take some colored newpaper throw it in the fire, the fire would be blue or any other colors. (becareful, they might scatter) have a sterio outside, erm..... swingset is good to relax, GET ALOT OF MARSHMELLOWS AND AND AND GRAMHAM CRACKERS AND CHOCOLATE, CANT HAVE A BONFIRE WITHOUT THEM.

thats all I got for ya. I have alot of parties but not a bonfire. hope your party is fun and entertaining.

  6. Sounds fun! Maybe you could play like capture the flag at night! Roast hotdogs...and make s'mores! I like the homework idea!

  7. make sure you have a radio. music is always a good thing. also, everyone loves smores, so get some graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate. hot dogs too.

    burn the homework!!

as far as ideas for what you should do.. truth or dare is probably the most fun.

just dont' get caught doing anything bad ;-)

  8. You first need to even see if having a bonfire is legal.   It wouldn't be great to have the fire department show up and slap you with a fine.

  9. sounds like you have some ideas. I would set up a scavenger hunt, or a ghost story walk. (i assume theres a large property since you can camp out and have a bond fire)

  10. marshmellows. hotdogs.

play volleyball, soccer. something. any type of sport would be fun.
