Help with boys name please!?

Question

If a baby is named James Steven and the mother doesnt want it to be called james or steven what is a good alternate name for the baby? It is the fathers name he is james steven II and the baby will be the III is tray or trip ok and what about trace or is trace a girls name? jamie steve and stevie is out off the question

If you choose Tray, it should be spelled Trey.  Trip is also good, but make sure he knows what his real name is.  My cousin thought his real name was Skip and when he went to kindergarten and they called him Charles he cried because that was his dad's name.  My aunt and uncle never told him that Skip was a nickname.

Well actaully, the best nicknames out there are Jamie, Steve, or Stevie. I dont think theres actaully another good one out there. But you can call him, hunnie or sweetie or something =)

No, there is a male country singer called Trace Adkins so I think you can use that nickname just fine.

Tray and Trace are silly... try Tre or Tres if you are trying to use the number. Jim or Jimmy are possibilities.

Sounds like the mother is trying to avoid having another James Steven in the family. If she doesn't want to call the kid James, Jamie, Steven, Steve or Stevie, don't name the kid James Steven. It's pretty logical.
