Help with burning dvd????

I used win avi to convert my file into a dvd. I am trying to burn it into a dvd, but my computer will not let me. I have tried nero, and win avi. It seems like my computer is not reading my dvd, or something. Anyone know what is wrong????? THANK YOU

    What error message you are getting and in what stage, I mean during the DVD format conversion or after Conversion, while burning?

  6. Sounds like your dvd burner may be broken. Do you have a CD burner as well? If you do try converting it back to AVI  and burn as a data disc with Nero, Real player or Media player. Most DvD players you hook to your tv now will play this kind of format and it is much cheaper then buying DVDs.
