Help with burning dvds...?! 10 pts to correct answer!!?

ok.

i have windows vista and i am trying to burn a movie that i made with windows movie maker onto a blank dvd-r....im burning it with "windows dvd maker"...whenever i click burn it says "DVD burner not found. Please make sure your dvd burner is connected and installed, then try again" but i do have a dvd burner....it comes up under my computer....

please try to help/

  1. Download " Ashampoo Burning Studio " to use as windows burning program is not to good.

    Also do an internet check so you burn the movie in the correct format, as some will not play on TV or will not play on computer

    Videos and movies come in many different formats check which yours is

    Right click go to properties and check

  3. Are you using the software for your DVD burner? It should detect the burner.  If not then the connections to your motherboard might not be very good.  Better check them.
