Help with car stereo, 1995 C280 Benz?

Question

I am turning 16 in a few week, and am going to get our old 1995 Mercedes Benz C250, I'm fine with it, except there is absolutely no sound coming out of the stereo. I'm guessing that all the speakers are blow, and anyway wanted to upgrade the stereo. I have no clue about how to go about this, from what I'll need, to where to go. I'm thinking I'd get new speakers, and faceplate, and maybe subs. Other then that, Idk what else i need or how exactly it'll work in the car. If someone would help me, or atleast explain exactly what i should look for in simple terms. I would really appreciate it.

i'll give you a list of equipments you need to buy

head unit - cd player

front components - 6.5" speakers

rear speakers - 6.5" or 6X9" speakers

amplifier - 4 channel - for front comps and sub

subwoofer

wiring kit

you didn't mentioned a budget !

you can add a mono amplifier for the subwoofer if budget allows

no need of capacitors or equilizers

go to crutchfield.com and choose your car merc c250

they have a list of equipment that will fit in your car and bill
