Help with car subwoofers.?

Question

I purchased a pair of 10" memphis subwoofers 250rms and a 500watt memphis amp in December 07. They just recently stopped working. I think I damaged the voice coils so I took them out and bought two new ones the exact same kind and they dont work either. Can someone help me out.

First thing to do, check the fuse at the battery

It may not look blown, Replace it anyways, the solder cantacts may be open. Next if you have a test light, or even better an ohm meter. Check  + Batt at amp,to see if there is voltage there, also turn stereo on and check to see if voltage is on your remote wire. If voltage is there double check ground connections.

If no luck there bring it to a specialist
