Help with car tax on 2 ford focus 1.6 cars.?

i have the chance to buy a ford focus , and have the choice of 2,

they are both 1.6 zetecs

but one is on a v plate and the other is a 52 plate.

will the car tax be exactly the same on both cars?

the 52 plate might be slightly cheaper with the new car tax laws on emmisions.

52-plate probably £40 to £60 cheaper
