hey guys i am currently attending a comunity college and in about a year i will have an assosiates degree in applied science and be an automotive technician should i stick around the u.s to finish 2 more years of school (masters in mechanical engineering) or go to newzealand and go to college there? will it be cheaper?

realisticly i think i will start asking for a visa in two or three years and just save up a bit of money.

i plan on visiting again at the end of next year.

  1. I think they charge international students more here but if you are in the USA I understand education is super expensive so maybe it will be cheaper here.  You need to enquire at the university that you intend going to, look for ones on google.co.nz & be sure to tell them you are from overseas, they also may have limited places for overseas students & you may have to have above average grades to qualify for one.  Personally it's probably easier to stay where you are until you finish your studies.  Also check that the qualification you are getting will be accepted here as sometimes people from overseas are dismayed to find their degree is not recognised here.
