Help with carrier pickup??

I print my own labels at home using the usps shipping assistant and I wanted to know if you can use the carrier pickup and pay the postman for the postage when he arrives for pickup?

No. The carrier does not sell postage. However, you can print your own postage. You prepay with a credit card (or other method) and the program will allow up to that amount of postage to be printed.

EBay / paypal have a system where you just buy, with your paypal account, just the amount of postage you need each item one at a time and uses your home printer. Others require you to rent/buy hardware and buy postage in huge blocks for future use.
