Help with chemistry A2 coursework?

i need to find the order of reaction between acid and metal, i chose MG and HCL. i will change the concentration to find out the rate of reaction by collecting hydrogen gas in a gas syringe. however i am unsure what quantities to use, and how to get the order of reaction from these results, please help.

    1. Health and safety with hydrogen generation

    2. difficult to collect a gas with any accuracy using a gas syringe

    would you consider an upturned burette easier and more accurate in my experience

    3. Have you considered CO2 generation using HCl and CaCO3?

    much easier

    4. I seem to remember that Mg and HCl gives a fractional order of reaction a nightmare to analyse
