can someone please give me the answer and show me how to do what amount of oxygen gas(in moles and in grams) is contained in a sample at STP that occupies 44.7L

  1. You know that at STP, one mole of an ideal gas occupies 22.4L

    Therefore, you have 44.7 / 22.4  = 2.00 moles to 3 significant figures.

    Oxygen gas is O2 with a molecular weight of 16.0 x 2 = 32.0 g/mole.

    2.00 moles at 32g/mole = 64g.
