my church is a small church with mostly older people, most of them have a hard time seeing the song books and their bibles and we were wanting to try to get a grant to help pay for projectors and screen so everyone can see and enjoy God's great Love

  1. One way, and is more common than you think, is to take out a life insurance policy on one of your members.

The way it works is that the church pays the premium, and is named the beneficiary.

Since the church is the owner of the policy, no one can cancel the policy.

The main benefit of this is that once the member passes on, the church can cash in on the policy, and a "donation" is made in that persons name to benefit all the other members.

See any reputable life insurance agent, they will explain it further.

Another way to solve your problem (I take it you have tried or cannot have fundraisers) is to ask local businesses for donations of goods (projectors) try schools  and county offices that are replacing older ones with new ones.

There are other solutions, if you can be more information, I can put you on track. ---- BILL --------
