Help with college, I need more money, I 'am 18yr old, and on my own for school?

want to go to college, but I can not get a loan to cover the rest of the bill, I may not be able to go do to not having funds to cover.

Okay, a few things that you should know if that you never wait until the last minute to do anything with MONEY.  Apply for financial aid in advance.  If there is an issue then you should apply for a loan.  Yes, it might not be what you want to do but it is an option to ensure you are in the door.  Next your first year in college should be a success.  Why?  If your grades are good you can apply for scholarship which is free money to your tuition.  Also, check with several colleges to see if they give minority scholarship if so CHECK IT OUT.  Last look online with sites for example as FAST WEB for scholarship opportunities.  Good luck and much success.

Anybody can get a loan for school. Talk to a academic adviser about your options. They will know more info then anyone on here. Ask them about grants also. Those are basically loans that you don't have to pay back. Good luck!

Get a job as a cashier to something and make some moey to pay, you need to go to college, in this day and age no one is hiring with that degree!

get a part time job so that when your not at class, you'll be working so that will help pay for your tuition and it will also enable you to meet new people whilst your at it!

Sure you can.  Contact the school.  Go to the financial aid office and they will ensure that you are covered for school and living expenses.  Believe me, I was in the same boat as you.  Those financial aid officers will bend over backwards to find a way for you to go to college!  But you have to go in and ask, first.  Best of luck to you!!!
