Help with colorguard/visual ensemble/flags

I am trying out for captain this year

Its my 3rd year

My instructor wants me to make up alot of new moves

I've already made up about 5

Can anyone help me on it

Any pointers?

Try looking on youtube and watching moves from other guards, drill teams, dance teams, etc. for inspriation.  Also mix and match some of their moves to create a new dynamic routine.
