Help with computer program removal?

I need to find out the name of the program that causes the parental controls to block pages. Where can I go in my computer, without administrator permission, to find the name of the program parental controls uses, and is there any way i can remove the program just for my account? thanks, the one that actually works will go best answer.

The program that is used to block the pages using parental controls is Windows itself (I am assuming that you are using Windows. If not, then I don't mess around with other operating systems).

The settings that enable the parental controls are stored in the registry of the computer. The registry cannot be changed without administrator privileges. The parental controls used by Windows are only effective if used with Internet Explorer. If you are allowed to install programs, (which might be another thing that is blocked), I would suggest installing a different browser, (i.e. Firefox, netscape, opera), and then hiding the start icon. Use the other browser, and Windows parental control has no say over what you do on it. This might work with other operating systems, but I have never tried it.
