Help with copying music and files onto disc?

Question

For some reason i am unable to write any kind of music to any cd's, everytime i put a blank cd in the disc drive my computer starts to crash a little then it ejects the disc saying insert blank disc, it use to write music files all the time, im also having problems with getting movies onto disc as well.

Have you tried using Nero program to burn music files? I used this everytime I burn movies or music. Well, try to buy a new blank CD and see what happens.

i use window media player 11 to do it. and just get your songs and put the disc in. and right click all of the songs and goto "send to disc" and it will bring up the CD folder and on the left it will show "write to disc" click that and then press "start burn"
