I have a 27 in. Panasonic TV ( about 5 years old that for years worked fine and the Direct TV satellite remote worked great and was programmed to control the TV. Recently, it would no longer work with the TV and I had to use the TV buttons (hard to see) to turn it on and off, and adjust volume. Per Direct TV, I was to use a Panasonic code to reprogram the remote- They gave me at least 25 codes, told me what to do, none worked so they sent me a new remote. It could not be programmed to control the TV either. and only runs the satelite receiver. So, they told me sorry guess it is not programmable for Panasonic. How can that be if someone had the right code originally and it worked for years years and now nothing can make it work? same TV ,same remote- can't even find the Panasonic Tv site that has dodes to use. Can anyone help? Is there a new code?
