Help with cosplay wig?

Question

I have a blonde wig, but i'm having trouble styling it for my character, misa from death note. Apparently there's not enough hair to completely disguise the wig mesh from behind when i put it up in pigtails. If anyone knows a way to add hair coverage to a wig or specifically (like specific item listing if online) where i can get a better misa wig, that would be a great help.

Putting a wig in pigtails is actually a pretty complex process.  This site has a tutorial on doing both that and on adding more hair fiber to a wig:

It would probably be best to get a wig that is already styled with Misa-style pigtails since her hair style has them pretty high up on her head.

Find a dollar store in your area.  They usually sell hair pieces for a buck.  You can get a ponytail one and fill in the wig where you need.  If you take apart a ponytail and it's on an elastic, just cut back most of the elastic and then hot glue the pieces on to your existing wig.  If there is no elastic, then run a strip of hot glue on either side of the hair as well at the root.  This should hold the hair in, then glue to wig.  If you can't find that, then try a craft store that sells bags of doll hair.  If you can't find a wig or pieces from these two places, there are thrift stores that have wigs.  Just wash it really good before you use it if you get one from there.

try buying the misa cosplay wig off ebay, it might be easier than actually styling a normal wig to look like her hair....if you cant  buy it good luck trying to style it (wigs are a pain to style) lol
