My facts, its a great country, Merida has the highest mountain 5000mtr the longest cable car in the world. Angel falls is the highest in the world 900mtrs. etc...

-Venezuela is an oil producer country, even though they produce other things, the primary market is oil, and the most important company that manages oil is called PDVSA (Petroleos de Venezuela)

- Venezuela has the tallest water falls in the world. They are located in the Bolivar state, and they are callef Angel Falls (El Salto Angel)

- The capital city is Caracas. Other important cities are Maracaibo, Valencia, Barquisimeto and Maracay (in that order).

- The most important man in the Venezuelan history was called Simon Bolivar, he made independence possible by fighting the spanish. The battle of independence was June 24th, 1821, and it was called "Batalla de Carabobo" or Carabobo Battle.

Look up Venezuela on the search engine. There should be all kinds of sites. I lived in Maracaibo for 2 yrs and it is a wonderful place. Angel falls is supposedly the tallest waterfall in the world.....there are so many wonderful things about Venezuela. The Orinoco River, the Indian markets, Gaita music, you name it! Good luck!
