I am training for cross country running, however, in the middle of the training, I will be going to camp for a week, where I won't be able to run. I'm so scared that when I get back, I won't be as strong as the others on my team. How badly will this affect me, and, how can I get back into shape from what I lost?

  1. The week before you go to camp, intensify your training by 100%. Then, your extra training will carry over to the week that you arrive home. Then you can catch up where you left off.

  2. well i mean its not that bad a week is only bad if ur sitting on ur *** all week you say ur going camping go hicking for a while keep your legs active and you should be fine dont worry about it

just when ur up there go for a hick with someone get ur leg mucles working and ull b good k

  3. its ok to go to camp. not running for a week will hardly effect you at all. just run a little more than usual before you go to camp and you will be fine.

  4. i would'nt worry about it much. i went on vacation for 3 weeks and i it actually helped instead of hinder me.

    - i felt more energized and rested.

-all my pains and injures went away.

-it took me a couple days to get back into it (like 3-4 days) but after taht i was fresh and rejuvinated.

-this is only a week i wouldnt worry much, think of it as a resting period.
