Help with downloading files?

When ever i try to download a file, it downloads using WinZip even though the file isnt a zip file. I dont know what else to download and open programs with, most of the files i want to download are exe i think.

It sounds like when you push the download button you are using the  "OPEN WITH" check box. If you look to the right of where it says "Win Zip " you will find a drop down arrow. By pushing it you can choose which program you want to use to open the down load. Personally I don't recommend doing this. It is much safer to use the other button to down load the file to a folder on your computer and scan it with a anti virus program before ever opening it.
