Help with drivers license info? =S?

Do i need to actually learn how to drive to get my drivers license? I am currently just reading the drivers ed book

take a drivers license of learning how to drive on the road.And put a big "L" sign on ur car and drive.Don't  worry u can make accident in free.Traffic police will not fine u. you can also hit any people.Because u have Learning and drivers license.

yes, you do but you said you're reading a book. do you mean permit? to get your license, you need to pass a road test which means you actually have to drive.

..well, i did have to successfully defend my proposals in front of a jury, before they let me take the architectural board exam..

-it would be totally unfair to the public if they give you a driver's license without having to drive a vehicle.

the idea is insane.. and the entire licensing body should be prosecuted if ever they let that happen.
