Help with dvd player?

I have a apex ad1115 dvd player. is there a way to skip or move to a different chapter in the movie if i don't have the remote? the only buttons on the dvd player are play/pause, stop, and eject. i've tried the tv remote but doesn't help. thanks.

buy a all purpose remote then yes you can but not on the dvd player itself

No "next (forward) & back (backward)" buttons? if that's true then you need an unoversal remote control just make sure it coves you brand and model.
