  1. Education welfare does not necessarily mean your going to be given a really hard time about absenteeism, hopefully she'll do what she's been trained to do and try to find out what the problems are and what can be done to sort things out for you. Maybe she'll ask why did you skip school, is there an underlying prob that can be sorted.

  2. I have a daughter who misses school a lot because of her medical appointments. I have to take the appointment cards and letters into school to show them proof that she is not just having a day off or skiving! The best thing you could do is tell your parents what you have done and then go back into school full time. The education welfare officer will always catch up with you.

  3. The old consequences for your actions is coming back to bite you where it hurts!  Be honest with your mum, get the medical absences taken care of and take whatever punishment your school and your mum give you for skipping school.  Now is the time for you to grow up a bit and start thinking of the consequences of your actions BEFORE you do something you know is wrong.  Mum's seem to have a way of finding out most of the stupid things we do as kids.

Don't skip school ever again - mum will find out and your punishment will be MUCH worse!  School's not that bad, besides that's where all your friends are, right?

  4. Don't be a fool baby - go to school!
