Help with finding a homecoming dress and dress measurements???

I'm looking for a cheap dress { preferably under $30} for homecoming dance at my school... Where can i find cheap dresses that look really nice and are suitable for a high school homecoming dance..

Also, how do you know what size dress you are???

Go to a thrift store like Salvation Army or Volunteers of America. This is where many girls' prom/homecoming dresses end up after being worn once! (Sure you might keep the prom dress for a few years, but after college you'll get rid of it.)

You can try stuff on, and they're usually under $20. Plus you are supporting great charities.

There are also dress-specific charities for girls who can't afford a prom dress.

I think buying on the internet would be hard for a dress - there are so many little places that things can go wrong because girls' curves vary so much.

Check out the ebay website.

Type in 'homecoming dresses' in search bar in 'Fashion' category and lots of dresses come up. Most of the stores have size charts etc so you will know what size to order.

Don't be afraid to buy from China as I have and the dresses are as they are described and arrived quickly.
