Help with frizzy hair!?

i have long light brown hair that enjoys torturing me by poofing out and being frizzy. please, any ideas for hair products, styles, do's, or accessories too calm it down, and make it look pretty and cool? ANY help whatsoever is appreciated. thanks!

tell us a little more. what race r u. im assuming u r white. i say if u wash your hair everyday try switching to every other day or every 2 days. use a good ceramic flat iron. ceramic r way better than regular. example the chi iron or simular. they run about $90 to $140 but they r worth it. i got a chi from Marshalls for $60. so look 4 them there or tj max. then this is important: go to a local beauty supply store or beauty shop that sells african american products. u need some kind of no frizz product, setting lotion, or wrapping lotion. u put it on your hair while its wet. blow dry it or use a sit under dryer. I dont know exactly what product will work 4 u, but i bet this is your best lead. consult a black or mixed beautician. if u want to enhance your waves to be pretty and wavy without frizz use "wet and wavy" products from the beauty supply store. the do exactly what the name says make your hair look like it does wet.

i am black, but i have a white red head friend with frizzy wavy hair. its funny but once an emergency situation called 4 her 2 use my shampoo and conditioner once and she loved it so much that she wanted to try all of my other hair products. now u cant pay her to go back to whatever she was using.
