  1. Well the best tips I can give you for running is make sure you have the ball covered with both hands while running through traffic (that's pretty much what you're doing as a fullback, unless you end up breaking loose up the middle).  Keep your legs driving at all times...don't get hit and let your legs go dead...happens to alot of people.  When run blocking for the halfback, hit the first guy you see that has a legitimate chance of tackling the ball carrier on sweeps...hit him hard and drive him out of the way.  If it's a run play up the middle...your job is mostly gonna be to pick up the inside linebacker..make sure he doesn't make the play.  Screens...make sure you catch the ball.  The lineman should be out there to do the blocking...let it develop.  That's the main thing with a screen...shouldn't rush it.  But that'll be more up to the qb than you...so just get out there and make sure you catch the ball.  That's the best advice I can give you without actually watching you play and seeing what you gotta work on.

  2. Read books and watch sports videos with fullbacks. Barry Sanders played for the Detroit Lions. My best advice is on blocking is run towards the person your blocking and try to knock them down on their rear. On screens look for the gap and get open for the pass. QBs tend to look for HB or FB on screens. Screens are to gain short yards on a play. Barry Sanders has caught screen passes and ran for a TD.
