  1. Scheid (shide) <- prenunciation

    or

    Welzinger

  2. Using "von" makes the name descendent of nobility. So try a few of these:

    von Mueller

    von Stoeller

    von Briest

    Margrave

    Falkenberg

    von Feuerbach

    von Droste-Hülshoff

    von Zeißberg

Some of these are actual nobles. So the names have a bit of authenticity to them.

  3. Use "Sandweg".It has a meaning, it's nice, not too short not too long.It actually reminds the name of my ex-boyfriend who was German

  4. I'm German, my last name is Amthor

  5. Zucker - Meaning Sugar

If I knew what your story was about, I might be able to help you find a better name... but I personally feel that Zucker is a good lively name.
