Help with getting international driving permit / licence in India?

i want to get a international driving permit for my brother who is currently working in USA. He holds a permanent Indian licence.

I need the following information:-

1. Since my brother is in US, I cannot show his original Passport/Visa, which is required while applying for the international permit. So can I show their attested photocopies?

2. Can I apply for the permit by post or online?

Hi,

Please ask your brother to find out from usa Is there any agency providing the services .

In India He should have taken the IDP before left

You can try with AAUI (Autompobile association of upper india whoi provides services for a nominal membership

But in any case your brothers original documents are requd no escape.
