I have an alpine sub and amp that work fine in my friends car but not in mine. It's all hooked up right and the cables are ran through the car just fine and i have an Eclipse CD2000 cd player and it isnt sending the audio through to the amp. It has three rca outputs in the back of the cd player: front rear and non fader n i hooked it up to the non fader and turned the non fader all the way up on the cd player but it still isnt working....i think i might need to change a setting or something to turn on on the sub so it works like most cd players but i cant figure out how to do it......PLLLZZZZ HEELLLPP!!!

  1. i dont know but maybe your rca cords and power cords are running up the same side of the car if thats the case put the rca cords on the other side...

also there could be a problem with your ignition wires make sure its taped off the right line or if its plugged in at all the ignition cord on most wire harnesses are blue, baby blue or something with a blue color in it. make sure no wires are striped or cut, and check wether or not the emergency light isnt red on your amp.

also check your fuse box change it out anyways there cheap so it shouldn't be such a big deal to do that and it might save you a lot of money it smarted to pay 5 dollars then 300 to replace everything.

if you tried all this email me and try to give me a long self diagnostic so i can further investigate this problem.
