Help with graphing calculator :D?

Ok so in the y= section of the graphing calculator. In front of all the y=, i have this sign that looks like this:

I want it to get to / or \

How do i change it? Whenever my teacher asks me to graph something it turns out wrong than everyone else's

Also, when i graph it, i cant choose more than 1 function to show up int he graph.. Help pleaaaase

  1. I have no clue where that symbol came from, but if you absolutely need to, you can hit 2nd, plus, 7, enter, to reset the calculator.


  2. It depends on the graphing calculator you have but in most cases i believe if you put the cursor so it highlights the >= sign as you said and just hit enter then it should change it to a different sign and you should just be able to keep hitting enter until you see the sign turn into the symbol you want.
