Help with guppies!

i have a guppy trio. one of the females are really pregnant. what is an ideal temperature for her? she's in the tank with the other male and female. the tank is well planted. thanks for your answer!

  1. Leave  it  alone  it  will  be  fine.I  have  8  pregnant  guppys  and I just  

    feed  them  every  day.


  2. Guppies don't need exceptionally warm water.  74-76 F is fine.

  4. Well, anywhere between 76-80 would be good. 78 is a good temp.=)

  5. Room temp is good. I used to breed pond gupppies, so once you see your betta is pregnant, put her in a seperate tank, and once she gives birth, remove her immediately as she and the other guppies will eat the babies. Keep the babies in the other tank (keep the baby-tank well planted also.)

  6. Keep it right where you are, or even a coupla degrees cooler.  Make sure you have a grassy plant where the babies can hide from the hungry adults. (You can buy plastic grass - either put it on the bottom of tank, or let it float on top).
