Help with helmets!!!!!?

ok so how do you put hair nets on under GPA or IRH helmets for horse shows? i have tried and i put my hair in a pony then the hairnet over my hair/head. then put the helmet on. but the hairnet gets pushed down my forhead. HELP PLEASE.

Ok ( you will look like a totall dork until the helmet is placed on your head :P )

Ok you want to put your bangs back. Dont tuck ur hair behind your ears let it go over ur ears. And then put the knot on your forhead. ( but move it way up past your hairline ) Then put the pony tail on and then put ur helmet on from back to front and that should do it!

pin the hair net back to your fringe so that it doesn't cover your face

Start with the edge higher up and use hairgrips to hold it in place and/or get someone to hold the hairnet at the back while you put the hat on. If this doesn't work your hat may be too tight.

Everyone has their own tricks to getting the hair net to stay in place.  

If you have bangs, try to use one or two bobby pins and hair spray to pin them back.  Just make sure the pins are comfortable under your helmet.

Then, part your hair down the middle. Grab your hairnet and place over your head to hold the hair for the top of your head.  We will get another net for the bottom half of your hair.  The key to not getting it shoved down on your head is having the net tight.  Gather the hairnet and hair into a low pony tail at the base of your neck.  There should be some excess hairnet in the pony tail.  Then, tilt your head down or just look dow so your pony tail flips back on top of your head.  With another hairnet cover the bottom half of the pony tail.  

When you go to put your helmet on, make sure you keep your head down and put it on back to front.  If you have excess hairnet on top of your head then shove it under the helmet before you pull it all the way down on your head.  

Remember, it doesn't matter what it looks like under your head.  The judge wont see it.  I keep the knots from the net on the side of my head so they don't bother me.  If you have to, use hair spray to "glue" the net down on top of your head if you still have problems.  Don't forget you want to have some hair covering the top 1/3 of your ear.
