Help with homemusicstudio?

a) what do I need to buy for a basic music studio. I am just going to record singing and piano or guittar.

b) what do they do at the studio with the artist`s voice?? Because they allways sound so much better in the CD than when they perform live

Make sure you have a good sound card. Now, a good package software is a program called "REASON".

It has everything built in, even the drum machine. Hook your mike in the sound chord and the software Reason will take care of the rest.

You can add effects on your voice even after it is recorded and saved.

I do a lot of Studio work and this software is mind blowing and easy to use.
