whats the differences between using tools and using your senses to provide answers?

yea it does involve science

When you use tools it might give a more accurate answer since they are meant for that specific job. While on the other hand your senses can provide inacurate answers but you might be able to catch something that the machine didn't catch, for any reason be it that its broken or the r****d in the last period was s******g with it :).

and if you used your senses you would think of it on your own.
