  1. I don't think it sounds like menopause.  I would have your hormone levels and your thyroid checked.  Good luck.

  2. are you trying to get me going ,swollen b*****s,and horny and if you are hungry ,i know something i could let you eat and you would not have to worry about counting calories

  3. are you sure your not pregnant, that happened to me when I got pregnant and still had periods.

  4. If you are CERTAIN you are not pregnant - (no s*x, or taken pregnancy test - all birth control methods are fallible - make certain you are not one of those 1 or 2% failure rates) -

Early onset menopause is pretty uncommon, but possible.

More likely, simply hormonal changes that result in changes related to your menstrual cycle.

I have found that my PMS symptoms have increased a great deal with age.  I went thru my teens and twenties with almost NO symptoms -other than weight gain which happened like clockwork, then went away immediately before my period started.

Over the past few years (and I'm well past 30 now, lol) - I can ALWAYS look forward to 2-3 days of borderline "exhaustion," weight gain/bloating, and mood swings, followed by another day or two of sudden appetite increase that is insane, and libido that is as insane as my appetite.  During one of these 2 days, I get so agitated that I will invariably burst into tears before the day is over, and usually on the same day, I have cramps that feel like labor pains (NEVER had them in my teens or twenties at all.)  Randomly, not always, the b***s will get tender as well.

Oh the joys of womanhood, lol.  Oddly, I always thought other women were just exagerating about PMS, because I had really never experienced it.  Well, now I know exactly what it means.:(

I have found it helpful to make sure I take a multi-vitamin (helps reduce that tired, drained feeling) and when the cramps get bad, I take Ibuprofen.  I rarely take medications, so it doesn't bother me to take it for that one day of the month, but there are some herbal therapies you might want to check into also.

If you're not comfortable that this is all that's happening, definitely make an appointment to discuss it with your doctor to rule out other possibilities.

    Hope you feel better soon.
