Strictly speaking, you can't really go too wrong with Will Ferrell.

But, anyway, some of my favourite comedies at the moment are:

*Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

*Semi-Pro

*Napoleon Dynamite (classic film)

*Big Daddy

*Happy Gilmore (again, you cant go wrong with Adam Sandler, either)

*Starsky and Hutch (Ben Stiller is usually a good choice, too)

*Be Cool (gotta love Elliot)

*This is Spinal Tap (great documentary on the greatest rock band ever)

Kung Pao is really, really funny.  It's originally in Chinese but was dubbed in English and the lead actor was replaced by a Caucasian.. Kung Fu Hustle is also funny.  You may also try watching Johnny English, Get Smart, and the old Naked Gun movies. =D
