Help with inernet explorer on windows vista?

ok every time i want to close a window it will say interent explorer is restarting & then itll close all my windows even though i only pressed the x button on 1.and also wen i try 2 download sumthing it will close evrything.help please

 Use a good antivirus and cc clean or tuneup utility.
