Help with info on Social Security Card???

Question

We had a fire several years ago when I was little, and my Social Security Card, immunization records, I think copy of birth certificate, that stuff is gone. I have to have my s.s. card to get my driver's license and i think permit. The only thing is I don't know what to take to go get my s.s. card or where to go. If you all could give me a list of things to bring and where to go i would be eternally greatful. Thank you all soooooo much.

you have to have a copy of your birth certificate (can obtain a new one from the county building in the county you were born in) and take it to a local social security office, they can help you from there. best wishes

You can request a new card from the Social Security office.  You can go to their site for information and also to find out where your local office is located.
