Help with internet connection sharing?

Internet Connection Sharing... The connection I would like to share is from a wireless broadband modem (3g USB881 [Cingular]). What I am wondering is, will a $40 linksys modem that supports up to 54mbps work with this connection?

it sound to me that you want to use the internet that you get with a pc card from cingular to get internet in a laptop and then you want to share such internet with other computers?

if that's the case you don't need a router at all, all you have to do is enable internet sharing on your laptop and connect your other pc to your laptop using a cat5 cable...

the only thing is... your internet is going to be slow... very slow
