Help with itunes? is there any itunes version over 7.6?

Question

got loads of new songs on my itunes then put my ipod in, a pop up comes up everytime i do this saying "new update download for your ipod" usually i ignore it, but thought that i'll give it a go this time... so i updated my ipod version but then it said i cant get any more songs on it cause its not the same version and that i need 7.6 or higher of itunes!!

i went to the site downloaded it (took over an hour) but the latest was 7.5... wheres the 7.6? what else can i do??

the latest version of iTunes is 7.7.1 so try updating it with the Apple Software Update that you can find in START>>ALL PROGRAMS.

another thing that you try is uninstalling iTunes and the downloading it again and installing it. and make sure that you get it from Apple and not from any other site.
