Help with itunes???????

Question

I have tv shows on DVD. How do i get them from the DVD to itunes???

Do i HAVE to download another software?

i think so its not like put dvd in and drag it to itunes i tried

i've tryed to do this the best thing is just go to apple.com and look for answer there
