  1. First, make sure that there are no extra spaces in the artist name or album name, it's easy to miss spaces accidentally entered after the name. Are you editing the info for each song individually or doing the whole album together? If you do Get Info for the entire album, some spaces may be empty if there are any inconsistencies between the names (spelling, spaces, even capitalization).

    If you've fixed everything to ensure consistent spelling, space and capitalization, but it's still separating the album into several, go back to Get Info for the whole album. In the second track number space, enter the total number of tracks on the album, then, in the disk number spaces, enter '1' in each space. This usually fixes the problem if the first fix doesn't work.

    Finally, if it's still off, back in Get Info (for entire album), and change Compilation? to Yes. Save and Close. Go back into Get Info, and change back to No. I don't know why, but this tends to fix it as well. {Don't keep it on Yes, because it will then assign it to a Compilation folder in your iTunes music folder.}

    Add.: To edit a full album, select the first song from the album, Press and Hold the shift key, then select the last song. Right-click on the selection and choose Get Info.
