Help with law problems!! Is it ok to do...?

I'm taking business economic and enterprising class. My teacher gave us an assignment that we have to invent and sell our products. So our group decided to make a PC game and sell it. We found the software program that we can make a PC game with, but is it ok to sell it? Because I think it is againsting the law.

And you didn't invent the software, so you haven't done the assignment.
