Ok i've been interested in going to japan and that means i have to learn Japanese to make my life a lot easier. Now my question is where should i start i know kana and kanji would be the most obvious part but out of those two which would be a better starting ground. Also, (sorry for being such a pest) i have found a few decent sites for learning japanese but if you have any suggestion on where i might go please list them aswell. Thanks guys for your help!

  1. Start at hiragana, then to katakana, and then kanji.

  2. first you dont need to learn japanese writing if you just want to visit japan. almost all signs (road sign, signs at the station, bus stop, airport..etc) are written in japanese and english.

so you better start daily conv. ill give you audio files. so you can communicate with japanese people when you visit.

    do your best :)
