Help with limewire connection!?

well i just got a new computer.

and it have vista and norton virus protection

and i am trying to use limewire

and my connection only has 1 bar. is it because my firewall?

Yes. You will need to change your personal firewall settings/program controls for the program Limewire. You can change the protocol rules for the program buy allowing all incoming and outgoing connections to the program. This should increase your connection to the Network. You will still be behind a firewall, but that's for your protection.

However if you are a newbie to p2p programs like Limewire you will want to scan files when they are finished downloading to check for virus/trojan risks.
