Help with looking after fish please!?

Question

When i'm dosing the water in the aquarium with nutrafin aqua plus and nutrafin cycle, do i need to take the water out separately and dose it or can i just add a few drops in the aquarium with the fish still in it? It won't harm the fish in any way will it??
